It comes from the scrupulous selection of the grapes from the Poderi Boscarelli’s vineyard in Cervognano. About 6000 bottles are produced only in those years considered of excellent quality.

In the 2003 vintage the blend is: 90% Merlot e 10% Carmenère.
Vinificazione
The harvest is made by hand using small crates. After the destemming and a soft pressing, the fermentation goes on for 8/ 10 days at temperatures between 27 and 32 degrees. The maceration lasts for another 10 days. Remontages during the initial phase and manual plunging are carried out.
Caratteristiche del terreno
Alluvial, sandy, very poor with traces of lime and clay.
Invecchiamento
After maceration the wine is refined in Barriques and Tonneaux of French Allier and Nevers oak of different capacity from 225 to 500 liters for a period of 12 to 18 months according to the character of the vintage.
After refining the blending of the cuvée is carried out, and, only if essential, a light filtration before bottling
